Livia Foldes Invitation Poster
Using the visual metaphor of censorship, I created an engaging poster design
for a visiting artist lecturer, Livia Foldes. Foldes’ most profound work was
her MFA thesis entitled “Sex Workers Built the Internet.” Through her research
and inquiry, she attempts to amplify the experiences of sex workers, dismantling
stigmatized perceptions of sex work, noting that the community has been
dehumanized, sanitized, and erased from a platform they built: the internet.
